Posted 1/28/2021 at 6:22 PMAction is required if you are not actively enrolled in the NY State Medicaid program
Healthfirst providers who, while not actively enrolled in the New York State Medicaid program, are providing services to our Medicaid and HARP-eligible members must enroll in the New York State (“NYS”) Medicaid Program. Enrollment as a Medicaid provider does not require you to accept Medicaid Fee-for-Service patients.
If this applies to you, please submit your enrollment application for the NYS Medicaid Program immediately. Failure to enroll by March 1, 2021 will result in the rejection of any prescriptions you have written at participating pharmacies, and you may face termination from participation in any Healthfirst network that serves Medicaid Managed Care or HARP members.
