Pregnancy care—prenatal and postpartum—are essential to your patients’ health and well-being.

Healthfirst encourages your practice to actively identify patients who may need their pregnancy care needs addressed. For specific best practices and tips see the Healthfirst Provider Guidebook for Quality Measures (page 49).

  • Timeliness of Prenatal and Postpartum Care is a measure that may be eligible for incentives.


  • Identify members who need care by accessing the Healthfirst Quality App at HFproviderportal.org. Use the Care Opportunities tab to view member care gap information.
Member Wellness rewards

Please advise your patients that they may be eligible to receive Wellness Rewards for completing a postpartum care visit.
