Who can provide DMEPOS?
Healthfirst has a robust network of DMEPOS suppliers. To locate an in-network supplier, visit Healthfirst Find a Doctor or calling Integra at 1-888-700-4470.
What information do DMEPOS suppliers need?
Prescriptions and supporting clinical documentation must be submitted to an in-network DMEPOS supplier. View Healthfirst clinical guidelines for DMEPOS here.
How will the referring provider be notified about the status of their request?
Providers will be notified of the decision via a provider letter. If they submitted their request directly to Integra Partners via the portal, they can access the portal for a status update. Otherwise, referring providers can contact their DMEPOS supplier directly.
What should I do if a member was approved for DME by Healthfirst with authorized dates of service past June 1, 2026?
A new prior authorization request does not need to be submitted to Integra Partners for any requests with authorized dates of service occurring on or after June 1, 2026, if a prior authorization was previously issued by Healthfirst.
If you have any questions, please contact your Network Account Manager, or call Provider Services at 1-888-801-1660, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm.
