The New York State (NYS) Medicaid fee-for-service (FFS) program will reimburse for eConsults, effective April 1, 2024.
Healthfirst will reimburse for electronic consultations (eConsults) or interprofessional consultations between a treating/requesting provider and a consultative provider for the following Healthfirst plans: Medicaid Managed Care, Personal Wellness Plan (HARP), Medicare Advantage, and Managed Long-Term Care, beginning June 1, 2024.
